I sure have been missing making Steampunk cards....

I worked on this one a couple weekends ago after I read that some of my favorite Stampin' Up! sets I like to use for the Steampunk cards were retiring (or so I thought).

So, I made this card I call "Ink Tea"

Stamp sets: Timeless Treasures, Rue De Fleurs, Extreme Elements

Inks:  Marina Mist, Stazon, Versamark

Paper: Marina Mist, Very Vanilla, Beau Chateau

Accessories:  Irresdent ice EP, Glitter Brads,  random embellishments (dragon fly and cogs).

I have actually posted two pics of  this card because I still can't get the right camera light to keep out the reflection of the embossing and then I can't get the true colors of the card without a flash.

I hope you enjoy it in anyway you see it!

Hi all,

I have been really focused on making cards that will appeal to my club members and know it is not the Steampunk style.  But had planned ahead and had 15 minutes to put this card together....

I love this card, it is mostly Stampin' up! with real watch gears and some other gears.

I hope you enjoy this card and when I find my "recipe" for how I made it  i will post it :(

Accessories:  Cog Punch, Bird Punch, Three Flower Punch, Basic Pearls, Pewter EP, Victorian Lace Ribbon and random cog and brads.

I have decided that I enjoy doing the Steampunk style cards because there are no "rules" about what Steampunk entails but a sense of convergence of times that is mystical in the imaginations of great writers like Jules Vern and H. G. Wells... future and past in the same fashion as the Wild, wild, west movie victorian and futuristic style!
This card was made using the following SUM (stampin up mostly):
Stamp Sets:  Punch Potpourri, Dure De Fluers, Delicate Doilies
Paper: Choc. chip and Very Vanilla
Ink: Distressed antique, black SU marker
Accessories: Framelits, Embossing powders (black, copper and pewter), choc. chip polytwill ribbon, basic rhinestones, color spritz tool, versamark and some clock stickers
